Boho Sweet 16
What’s more boho than an outdoor party with dream catchers and flower crowns? I’m in love with this Sweet 16 Party submitted by Emma from Hopping Hares Parties.
If you’re throwing a boho-themed party on a budget, this party is for you! Beautifully styled with items everyone has lying around their home. Recycled jars, scrap material, and a few flowers come together for the perfect teenage dinner party. It’s time to get your creative juices flowing and recreate the look!

Emma shares the details!
“This was a party for my eldest daughter, Zoe to celebrate her turning 16. To save money, I recycled and used stuff lying around the house. A couple of wooden palettes were given by a friend. Food cans used to hold cutlery, old jam jars to pop tea lights and flowers inside, old cushions and fabric souvenirs that I brought from back from Bali and Peru years ago. I collected sticks from the park and cut scrap material ribbons so that there were elements to blow in the sea breeze. I also recycled a dream catcher I made for my youngest Native American party, taking out the ‘web’ and adding flowers and more scrap material ribbons. The only things I bought were 3 glass jars from the $2 store to house fairy lights and the flowers, and of course ingredients for the food. Being a party for a 16-year-old, inevitably, as parents, we weren’t invited, so I only have a small number of photos!”
Do you have a special occasion that you would like to share? I’d love to see it!
