Melissa shares: “A whimsical stylized wedding send off, set in the rustic outdoors. Delightful outdoor inspiration including beautiful wildflowers, rustic charm, and vintage elements.
Set in the beautiful Champoeg State Park, just outside of Portland, Oregon. This lush green escape is a gem to locals and popular place to camp, hike, bike or enjoy a family picnic. This beautiful natural area on the banks of the Willamette River was the perfect setting captured in the gorgeous glow of the evening sunset.
We decorated the rustic white table with a collection of vases, metal mirrored tray heirloom blush plates, and goblets. For our cake, we had a beautiful single tiered naked cake, featuring a strawberry champagne blush buttercream topped with lovely wild roses, flowering jasmine, and delicate greenery.
The whimsical collection of flowers for our bride’s bouquet was likened to our surroundings…just-picked blooms of colorful wildflowers and natural greenery. Featuring jasmine, peony, larkspur, chamomile, columbine, snowball viburnum and garden roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Script Balloons, vintage luggage and cascading jasmine added subtle, yet delightful details.
A vintage red Schwinn bicycle and classic luggage…for the Bride and Groom to ride away together!”
