It’s no secret I’m kind of obsessed with boho inspired parties.
Lucky for me, this Wild One first birthday has it all! A little bit boho (arrows, teepees, and dreamcatchers) mixed with a little bit outdoor adventure (smores, mountains, and critters) making it a whole lot of cuteness.
Filled with DIYS and tasty treats, this Wild ONE Birthday Party by Allison Carter, of Confetti Party Plans, is a wild adventure you won’t want to miss!

This is what Allison shared about the party- “Our sweet Hudson turned the wild one! It was quite the adventure of a year having Hudson join our family, so an adventure theme was perfect! I decided on ONE Wild Adventure- navy, white, and gray backyard party with arrows, teepees and dreamcatchers. I wanted hints of a wild one party, mixed with a boho/outdoor adventure feel. All decor was made by me: banners, the wild one backdrop, and Hudson’s refinished navy and white high chair. It was a very special day spent with our loved ones, celebrating our little adventurer, Hudson!
Menu: BBQ chicken, cornbread muffins with adventure themed cake toppers, pesto pasta with broccoli and arugula, fruit salad
Dessert Table: Vanilla Naked Cake, ONE Wild Adventure themed sugar cookies, Birch Twigs (chocolate dipped pretzel rods), Teepees (dipped ice cream cones), Vanilla with vanilla buttercream smash cake for the birthday boy, S’more station with lots of different toppings
Party Favors: Arrow bubble wands for the kids, and friendship bracelets for my “mom tribe” as a thank you for their support and love this year
Activities: Create your own dreamcatcher station: older kids made cardstock and yarn dreamcatchers, and the little ones made teether dreamcatchers with wood rings and different textured ribbon. / Leave a birthday wish for Hudson: Hudson’s middle name is stone so we had “blessing stones” where guests wrote a wish or blessing to him on the stone. They are now sitting in a glass jar in a shelf in his room. /Teepee: the kids loved playing in the teepee. They brought toys in, their dreamcatchers, played hide and seek. It was a hit!”
Do you have a special occasion that you would like to share? I’d love to see it!
