Winter snow is truly gorgeous!
January has some of the most magical scenery. I wanted to capture the beauty of the frozen lake before it melts away into spring. So I decided to style a cozy table setting to try and capture the magic of winter.

1). The more layers the better! – When styling a pacesetting, a good rule of thumb is to never have less than three layers. Start with a charger, add a unique plate, and top with a saucer, plate holder, or another dish. Layers are great way to add more texture and color to the overall table setting.
2). Top with greenery – Placing a small sprig of greenery on top of a menu or pacesetting can really enhance the design. It’s the small details that make the biggest difference. So don’t skip on the greenery!
3). Nature is everything! – If possible, try hosting a dinner party outdoors in a scenic location. The natural beauty does the work for you! Nature can take a simple design and make it look like a magical retreat.
